Standard RT10 hits just over 160
GTS does 175 max
Venom does 192-255 depending on model (doubt your cousin spent $250k on one of these limited edition beasts)

Now considering the Viper is poorly built, and despite the large engine has very little "go" the chances of it hitting the redline without falling to peices is slim.

Nice story though.

None. My family doesn't believe in "making time" in residential areas, and I don't drive much outside the city. At best, you'll cut a minute or two off a 15 minute drive, unless you plan on running all the red lights as well. At worst... I've nearly been on the receiving end of reckless driving as a pedestrian, so it really puts things into perspective.

126 in a 70......cop comes up to my passenger window, tells me to roll it down...the first thing he said is, "I am going to give you a warning."

I was driving my 2000 Eclipse down the interstate, radar detector did not catch it (he probably used manual radar)...flew by him, looked in the rear-view, saw him pulling out. i just went ahead and pulled over.

another time my friend and I were racing in rush hour traffic...unmarked car got between my friend and I and the other two cars.....only got me

he drew his gun and told me to "put your damn hands on the steering wheel"...after about 5 minutes, he says just go, I dont ever want to see you over here again"

i have been ticketed about 4-5 times doing 20+ over speed limits...ah, the joys of youth and a sweet lil turbo'd eclipse (first in south carolina)

The viper has 720 HP, half of which gets wasted. The viper couldn't redline without you dying in it.

Yeah.. you would be dead due to the massive amount of g forces hitting you. Waking up a month later would give you severe brain damage(probably why you came up with this story) and 192 is impossible on a dirt road in a Viper.

was this in the eclipse? if so..lol, the engines in those would have blown up far before that. trash little things
